The Greek Place Restaurant specializes in Modern Greek
cuisine, which makes wide use of olive oil, vegetables and
herbs, grains and bread, wine, fish, and various meats,
including poultry and pork. You will also find olives,
cheese, aubergine, courgette, and yoghurt are used
frequently in Greek dishes. Greek desserts are always full
of nuts and honey and crammed into pastry.
Highlights here include the saganaki, which is at its
salty best. A thick slice of Feta cheese is set on fire,
then put out by squeezing fresh lemon juice over it. Their
"Hercules" (assortment of meat), Greek Salad, falafel,
hummus, and other Greek specialties are all quite good.
